Created from white Duchesse Satin made from 100% silk (Paid $90 per metre, so top quality) this dress is designed to create an hour glass figure for girls who are not blessed with too many curves. It has built in bra cups and features pleated detailing on the straps and a sash which buttons on at the back of the dress.
The dresses main feature is the beautiful low back and it is shaped well to create a flattering butt!

Unique Scandinavian halterneck wedding dress with gorgeous embroidery + brooche to top it all! Matching pattern at the front and on the train. The dress will fit anyone UK size 10-12 (EU 36-38), due to its inbuilt corset at the back. The train is about 1 meter, and has a loop underneath the dress for easy carrying. Alternatively there is a button at the back of the dress which you can use for fixing it up off the ground. A flexible bridal slip comes with the dress. Description: This is an absolutely beautiful dress to wear, it fits like a glove there is no need for pulling the dress up throughout the day, the bodice is fully corseted and comes with attachable straps if you desire to wear them.
There is absolutely gorgeous beaded detail around the top of the bodice and on the bottom left corner of the bodice, beading is also around the bottom of the small trail. The dress features an A line skirt which flatters any body type and flows nicely. This dress was purchased for way over the asking price from Alma J bridal in Auckland, and has only ever been worn once and has been professionally dry cleaned and stored in a box for 2 years.

Description: An ivory Venus dress, style VN6631. Can be found on the Venus website. It is described as informal as has no train and is reasonably simple. The fabric is Royal Taffeta. It has a modified V neck which graduates toward spaghetti strap back. Entire bodice shows asymetric ruching with side pleating. The back laces up, this makes it fit perfectly even without alteration. I added fake flowers but these can be removed. Length suits 173 cm with 4 cm heels but could easily be taken up. Comes with 46 cm by 216 cm shawl of same material.
Description: Gorgeous Casablanca Bridal gown featuring rhinestone, swarovski crystal, crystal sequin and pearl details.
One shoulder style dress with a wrapped sweetheart neckline, a dropped waist which flares to a modified a-line skirt with gathers down one side.
Full boned bodice. The back of the dress sits sightly below normal bra strap height, and zips up with false buttons over the top.
There is a small mark on the left side of the skirt, but it is not noticeable when worn as it is under one of the layers. It also has small mark along the hem as we had photos outside. Again, these aren't noticeable when worn. Approx. 140cm from top of sweetheart neckline to hem.
A really stunning dress, and something a bit different. Comfortable to wear, despite the many layers!

Description: Lovely custom-made classic-style full length dress with short train. Silk outer with light lace-trimmed brocade lining (best worn with a hoop underskirt, which I hired for the day). Fitting bodice with three quarter length sleeves and just-on-the-shoulder silk rosebud trimmed neckline. Rosebuds repeated again around lifted hemline. Boofy bow at close of low, zipped square back. Although the dress is professionally made and finished, its construction is simple underneath for easy alteration. It looks as great as the day it was worn and has been wedding-dress dry-cleaned. I loved wearing it and left it on throughout the reception without bother.

Description: I bought this dress from Sophie Voon for my wedding in Feb 2007, it has been dry cleaned and well stored since then.
The dress is somewhere between a size 10 and 12 and was made to measure for me. The winter white fabric is beautifully gathered at the top and a white ribbon ties under the bust. The skirt floats down from the ribbon and finishes with the exquisite flower detail which comes up to mid thigh. The length is slightly longer at the back so has a very slight train effect.

84cm - around the bust

A true fifties silhouette, we have seen from Kate Middletons dress this is the silhouette of the future bride.
Ivy dupion silk draped bodice with angular sweetheart neckline and lace up back. Fully boned, creates the most stunningly perfect fit, yet so comfortable. Lined in satin complete with a wee blue bow as your "something blue"
The waisted 6 layer tulle full circle skirt with train, lined with satin and dupion silk is incredibly flattering and lightweight.
It is two piece & the skirt is worn over the bodice in my photos, however the bodice can be worn over the skirt also. The bodice has a curved hemline which scoops from higher to lower point on the hip at the front.
I fell completely in love with this dress once it arrived and even more so once I wore it on my wedding day. It is time to say goodbye and see someone else get the joy I did out of wearing this amazing gown. I am a fashion designer and designed the gown with Karen, I have never felt more beautiful in my life. Feel like a princess without looking like a meringue!
The skirt just has a hook and eye fastening and an overlap which is covered by the bow at the back which means this dress could be easily made smaller or slightly larger. The bodice is lace up with a very generous overlap which could be easily converted to a button up or zip if you preferred.
If you are in Wellington I can recommend the seamstress who made my final alterations. Being tulle, to make shorter you simply cut the tulle, and the petticoats just need to be turned up.
I am 173cm and I was wearing 5 inch platform stilletos.
Skirt exactly the same as that of the Sophia Gown. This one is a one of couture gown. Karen Wills Holmes off the rack gowns retail from $3,300 The price is an absolute steal, made to measure gowns like this by KWH cost well over $10,000.

Size 12 however dresses from this designer tend to fit small, so it would suit someone between sizes 10-12 and someone 5’ 4”/163cm or under. It has a shorter train so it would be perfect to wear at your reception as well.

Rough measurements are:
length top of shoulder to hem 152cm
bottom of bust 80cm
waist band 90cm
These measurements can be altered to a certain degree to suit new owner.
Dress is satin with chiffon overlay, skirt has tulle layers undernealth to bulk out abit with built in petticoat liner. Skirt has flower decoration which can be removed. Can't tell from photos but straps have tiny crystals sewn in.
