HELP! Bridal Shower
Aug 19th, 2012, 5:34pm

Hello Lovelies! I am hoping some of you might be able to give me some pointers.  I have discussed with the bride, and she wants a low key, afternoon tea type shower. No bachelorette. Which works fine for me. Problem is, I am in Wellington and she is in Auckland. Which means, I am planning from a distance which means I wont be able to host the party at my house...  I am wondering if anyone knows any venues for an intimate shower 15-20 people, and any budget saving advice!!! I would really appreciate it!

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

Can I suggest:

- One of the other members of the bridal party hosts, or otherwise a member of the bride's family
- Hire crockery Click
- Get on board Pinterest for ideas of styling example: ...
- Share the cost amongst the guests. It's completely ok to ask guests to contribute $10 to the afternoon - that way you can co-ordinate the food and make sure everything's covered and fits your theme, but without breaking the bank!
- Get a theme colour/pattern and run it right through your stylings. It's a cheap way to make things seem really co-ordinated (things like straws, twine, napkins..) I like this shop
- Bunting, bunting, bunting. Make your own!
