I am thinking about having giant outdoor garden games set up for when the wedding party are having their photos taken. Games such as giant chess, draughts, naughts and crosses and maybe croquet etc And at each of the games I will have a mini sign saying something like "come play a game and relax" or maybe something a bit wittier ...something like that anyway! I have a picture in my mind how I would like it to look and the atmosphere I would like to create.
Does anyone know where I could hire these from in the Waikato? I have watchlisted a few from trademe-but I would like to avoid buying them-well depending on hire-age cost of course!

We're having outdoor games at our Next Day BBQ - petanque/boules, croquet, Twister and Giant Jenga. FH is making the giant Jenga and I'm going to make the Twister. We have a petanque set already (not too much from somewhere like Rebel Sport or the Warehouse) and will just buy a croquet set (again, from Rebel or the Warehouse).

I reckon you could easily make a giant checkers set too - any shapes could be the pieces as long as they're two colours and you can just paint the grid on a white sheet and use tent pegs to peg into the ground (that's how I'm doing Twister).
