I have to work on a new signature and start changing everything over!

Cute! I've been trying to practise a new signature... I can't seem to get it right.... it looks dumb! My initials now are AK and my new initials will be AB, I can't seem to get the A to flow into a B!

Silly I know but I'm so excited about changing my name that I check with our IT dept about getting my email changed, so that it's changed when we return to work but they won't do it until I get back because they want to sight a marriage cert! Dumb!

I'm really lucky, my initials are staying the same and I've figured that as my signature is fairly loopy, especially where the surname is, I can get away with keeping it! Same number of letters too!

Is that silly...? Do you ever have to sign your old signature and then your new one side-by-side for changing anything over? If so, will they accept it, since both are the same?

Don't think you'd ever have to sign them side by side, they'd just ask you to sign your new one.... the only thing I can think of is the bank has electronic digi tag type copies of your signature... might pay to ask them

So I have to think twice when I'm signing hehe

I didnt click that I would have to have a new photo and I did it the day after getting back into nz from europe. No makeup and look like crap. Think i'm going to pay the $30 and get it retaken at somestage.

I've changed my name with most places, and a lot of them ask to see a copy of your marriage cert, but not all of them. Some of the ones I've rung have just gone "great, thanks". I keep a certified (JP) copy of my cert in my purse just in case I need to show it to anyone.
